Update from the Admirals.......
Having won their fourth game in a row The Admirals are on a bit of a roll and moving up the table
(despite the loss of teammate Brian Alder earlier in the month)

The Admirals played at Cheddar football club this week  getting off to a poor start losing the first two sets
They managed to overcome a 27 deficit in the last two sets in a very low scoring game despite having to put up a low score of 30, to win by 12 points to 4. Home next week.

Not a good week for the Admirals who played at the Constitutional Club , a notoriously low scoring Alley.
True to form we lost a very low scoring front pin match to the Strays.  Better lucjk is hoped for next week at 
Cheddar AFC

The Admirals maintained their winning streak at The Lamb Inn this week and were fortunate to come away with the win 14-2 - by one single pin.
 
Still a win is a win. 
 
Home fixture next week with the front pin the following week.

The team took part in the Perkins Cup this week, played at The Ship, Uphill. 
After quite a close match we progressed to the next round
 
Thanks mainly to a magnificent 69 by Paul Smart with 4 spares.

Third game of the season and the Admirals just got the better of the Crusaders who unfortunately arrived short of two players and had to put up low scores.
Nevertheless 12-4 with 52 from Trevor Jarvis kept the points moving.
Next week the Perkins cup.

The Admirals continued their season with an away fixture against St Happys at The Woodspring

 

Unfortunately they could not repeat last weeks performance and lost 2-14

 

Next fixture will be at home on 24th September

The Admirals kicked off their season in the District League, Third Division  at the Conservative Club with a 14-2 victory over Langford Rovers

 

Warwick Hulbert scored 68 pins including an 18 spare, their highest score for some time
